The Ritual

of the Turkish Bath

THE BENEFITS
OF THE TURKISH BATH

The benefits of a Turkish Bath session are well known and significant. Steam bathing helps release all muscular and nervous tension accumulated in the body, reducing stress and states of anxiety. The hot steam promotes sweating by opening the pores of the skin, allowing the body to expel toxins.

This is an excellent therapy for the skin, purifying and toning it. At the same time, blood circulation is stimulated, helping to strengthen both the cardiovascular and immune systems. Additionally, this process enhances the metabolic rate, resulting in the burning of approximately 300 Kcal per session.

Regular Turkish Bath sessions also support faster tissue healing after injury and serve as an effective therapy for relieving pain in affected areas. They are also beneficial in preventing inflammation of the respiratory system.

BEFORE THE TURKISH BATH

Before entering the Turkish bath, it is advisable to take a warm soapy shower and dry your skin thoroughly. Enter the steam room naked and rinse your seat thoroughly with water.

ENTERING THE TURKISH BATH

Choose the most comfortable and relaxing position for you and remain inside for about 20 minutes. This is the average duration for a session, but if you feel it is enough for you, you may leave earlier.

COOLING DOWN AFTER THE TURKISH BATH

Exit the Turkish bath and refresh yourself with a shower. Then return for another session, this time lasting 15 minutes.

FINAL STEP OF THE RITUAL

At the end, exit again and take a cold shower (preferably ice-cold). Dry yourself and allow your body to gradually adjust to the ambient temperature. Lie down, cover yourself with a blanket, and relax for at least 30 minutes. Remember to rehydrate by drinking water, electrolyte drinks, or juice to replace the fluids lost through sweating during the Turkish Bath.
